How to use Monte Knowledge Library.
Monte Knowledge Library is a read-only personal knowledge website for fast browsing, retrieval, and exploration of learning notes, LLM Wiki pages, and summaries.
Browse and Navigate
- Home: Start browsing from four main sources: Original Notes, LLM Wiki, Summary, and Browse by Topic.
- Original Notes: Browse all notes discovered from repository sources by collection and folder hierarchy.
- Browse by Topic: Browse documents grouped by topic across sources.
- Summary: View all review documents classified as summaries.
- LLM Wiki: Browse discovered LLM Wiki release pages.
Search
Use global search to quickly find notes, Wiki pages, and summaries:
- Click the Search button in the header or press Ctrl+K to open search.
- Enter Chinese, pinyin, English, or exact phrases to search.
- Use quotes for exact phrase matching.
- Results include matches from titles, topics, paths, and note content.
- Click a result to navigate directly to the document or anchor.
Reading Documents
Each document page provides the following information:
- Title and Metadata: View the document title, source collection, source path, type, and update time.
- Document Body: Read the fully rendered Markdown content, including code blocks, tables, images, and formulas.
- Table of Contents: The right panel shows the heading outline of the current document; click to jump to the corresponding section.
- Relations: View other notes, Wiki pages, and summaries related to the current document.
Language Switching
The website supports both Chinese and English for the interface:
- Click the EN or 中文 link in the header to switch languages.
- After switching, the current page will navigate to the equivalent page in the corresponding language.
- Document content remains unchanged; only interface elements (navigation, buttons, labels, etc.) switch languages.
Theme Switching
The website supports both light and dark themes:
- Click the theme button in the header to switch between light/dark mode.
- Theme preference is saved in browser local storage.
Attachments and Images
Attachments and images referenced in documents:
- Images: Rendered inline in the document.
- PDF files: Can be previewed in browser or downloaded.
- PPT/PPTX files: Download link only.
Knowledge Relations
Explore connections between documents:
- Same Topic Relations: View other documents sharing the same topic as the current document.
- Explicit Links: Other documents referenced by the current document through links.
- Backlinks: Other documents referencing the current document.
- Wiki Provenance: Associations between LLM Wiki pages and their source notes.
Keyboard Navigation
The website supports full keyboard navigation:
- Press Tab to navigate between links, buttons, and form elements.
- Press Ctrl+K to open search.
- Press Escape to close search or other overlays.
- Use Enter or Space to activate links and buttons.
